Clinical Psychologist
As a psychologist, I provide counseling services to clients referred by physicians, other therapists, former clients, or who find me on their health insurance plans. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, and spiritual growth.
I also provide Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services.
Workshops, educational presentations, and retreats are also part of my work
I teach online courses in Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Direction.
P.S.
I am unable to prescribe medications. Medications are prescribed by a psychiatrist, family care physician, or nurse practitioner. I work in collaboration with the prescribers of medications for my clients.

I bring much diverse experience and education to my clinical practice.
I believe in care of my clients that is based on respect for the person who is looking for help and support on presenting issues. Hope for growth, healing, and developing more appropriate and effective coping skills are key elements of my approach. I develop a collaborative relationship with my clients that is based on listening to my client's needs and goals.
Growing up in Ireland, going to university in Ireland, Switzerland, and Chicago, I have blended my work as a former Catholic priest, who worked in West Africa for over 10 years, with my passion for counseling. In Chicago, I worked for 7 years in both inpatient and outpatient hospital settings. I have been in the Phoenix area for 15 years working in counseling.
